Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated 29 August 2026
What you are charged, how to stop it, and when money comes back.
Before anything else
This is a plain-language summary of how the service works, written to be read rather than to impress. It is the agreement between you and us; where you need formal advice about your own situation, take it from a professional who knows your jurisdiction.
What you are charged
One plan. $1 today for 7 days, then $19 a month until you cancel. There is no usage bill and no second tier.
Depending on where you live, tax may be added or included. The checkout shows the exact amount before you pay, and that amount is what you are charged.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings, in two clicks, without contacting anybody. Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not end your access immediately: you keep what you have paid for until the end of the period you have already paid.
Cancel before the 7 days are up and you are never charged the monthly fee.
What happens to your work when you cancel
Nothing is deleted. Your projects become read-only rather than disappearing, and you can still export everything you have made. You cannot create new projects until you subscribe again.
If you would rather have your data removed entirely, you can delete your account, which removes your projects, your stored files and your provider keys.
Refunds
The $1 that starts the trial is not refunded. It is what the 7 days cost, and it is the whole of what you pay if you cancel before they end.
If you are charged the $19 monthly fee and did not mean to be, tell us within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to explain why. This is the case we expect most often: somebody meant to cancel during the trial and forgot.
Beyond that, we do not refund part-used months. You can cancel whenever you like and keep the time you have paid for.
If something we did stopped you using what you paid for, write to us and we will put it right rather than pointing at this page.
How a refund reaches you
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for every sale. Your card statement shows Paddle, not BYOQ, and refunds are issued by Paddle back to the method you paid with.
A refund usually appears within five to ten working days, depending on your bank. That part is not in our hands.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes rights you have by law. If you are in the UK or the EU you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, and consumer law where you live may give you more than this policy offers. Where it does, the law wins.
Asking for a refund
Write to synxparth@gmail.com from the address on your account and say which charge you mean. One message is enough; there is no form.
